We Get Our Hands Dirty
Not everything starts on a screen. Before a file is ever opened, we might be aging type by hand, painting letterforms, tearing textures, or building physical pieces to bring into the work digitally. The result is something you can’t download from a stock library or generate with a prompt — texture, weight, and character that comes from actually making something.
We use the full toolkit. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Affinity — and whatever else the project calls for. But the tools serve the work, not the other way around.

Every project starts with discovery. We listen first — to what you’re building, who you’re building it for, and what you’re trying to accomplish. Sometimes what you ask for is exactly what you need. Sometimes the discovery process surfaces a better path.

We grew up surrounded by barns.
Not the kind you see in stock photos. The real ones — solid wood, hand-built, marked by decades of use. They weren’t pretty in a designed way. They had character. Personality. The kind that only comes from time and honest work.
A lot of those barns still stand today. Not because they were easy to build, but because the people who built them didn’t cut corners. They used good material. They knew their craft. They built things meant to outlast them.
That’s the idea behind WoodMill.
Every project we take on carries that same standard. Design that holds up. Work that means something. Built right — not fast, not cheap, not disposable. The same way a barn gets built when you know it has to last a hundred years.
